For Weekend Seminars: The Center for Teaching and Learning will pay for half of necessary lodging costs for MnSCU participants in travel status. Upon hotel checkout, you will need to pay for 50% of your room and tax, and 100% of your incidental expenses. The CTL will be billed for the remaining 50% of your room and tax charges. CTL will not pay for any of your incidental expenses.
Note: Per state policy, the CTL is not
able to cover hotel charges if your work location is within
35 miles of the seminar location.
The CTL will not pay for "no show" charges or for charges due to late cancellation. Any "no show" charges are the responsibility of the individual.
The CTL does not pay for travel expenses (i.e., mileage)
to get to the Seminar. Seminar attendees must provide
and pay for their own transportation. You are encouraged
to apply for reimbursement using your campus-based professional
development funds. You may want to check with your campus
to see if a state car is available.
