You Can't Teach Science Labs Online, Or Can You?
workshop
November 13, 2009, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Remember science courses taught in laboratories, Bunsen burners, goggles, and beakers? Well many of our faculty are still using these teaching facilities with great success. However, with more students taking courses online, some faculty have found effective ways to teach their science courses and labs online! Join us to find out how they are teaching online and share in a discussion of what their students are learning.
There are two sessions. The first session (10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.) will cover students working at home conducting their experiments on their own.
