Realizing Student Potential/ITeach Conference 2009
Center for Teaching and Learning ConferenceLocation: Minneapolis Community and Technical College
February 27 - February 28, 2009
Keynote Speaker: George Kuh and Sally Johnstone
Once again, two great statewide conferences have combined to provide opportunities for sharing and learning about best practices in teaching and learning that are integrated with effective technology strategies. Join your system colleagues at this 2-day faculty development conference where we will gather to explore the challenges and rewards of teaching in today's higher education communities. Presenters will share best practices and will present their experiences in creating communities and conditions that matter for student success, whether it be in the classroom or online.
Two nationally known speakers and authors—George Kuh, Chancellor’s Professor of Higher Education and Director, Center for Postsecondary Research at Indiana University Bloomington; and Sally Johnstone, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Winona State University—will present keynote addresses around the theme of Communities in Higher Education.
This event is free to all Minnesota State Colleges and Universities faculty, administrators and students. A fee of $75 will be charged for all non-system personnel and for system personnel who register after the February 18, 2009.
