This self-paced tutorial is designed for System faculty members who are interested in learning about teaching strategies that promote active learning in the virtual classroom. http://vfc3.project.mnscu.edu/
This self-paced tutorial provides an overview of the five phases of instructional design as they apply to teaching online. By using the principles and models of instructional design, faculty members can avoid many of the problems often experienced by new teachers or anyone facing the requirement to use newer technologies in teaching.
