- CTL Teaching Online Workshop
Getting Started: An Overview of Teaching Online
Announcing this summer's offering of the Teaching Online Workshop! A systemwide team of faculty developed a four-week Teaching Online Workshop offered since 2005. This summer's online workshop is structured as four one-week modules which have redesigned to offer core and supplementary information so it will take approximately 3-5 hours a week to complete with additional information to explore if you wish.
Session 1: June 2 - June 29, 2008
Session 2: July 7 - August 3, 2008
System faculty may register for academic credit or take it on a non-credit basis. The workshop provides the opportunity to gain experience as a learner in online environments while receiving instructional design advice from experienced colleagues. Participants also have the opportunity to construct an online course module. This course provides faculty with a low-risk stepping-stone toward advanced certificate and graduate programs available through the collaborating universities, and, if desired, one graduate credit.
