New in 2009! CTL Faculty Lodge
The Center for Teaching and Learning professional development opportunities allow over 10,000 full- and part-time faculty to cross boundaries in institution type, across disciples, and geographical limitations within their discipline. By providing several educational formats, we are able to augment campus faculty development by bringing in nationally recognized speakers, and offer both on site and online venues for professional growth, and offer ways to network with colleagues statewide.
The annual Realizing Student Potential • ITeach Conference offers a meeting of systemwide faculty to learn from one another and discuss the challenges of making the latest research a reality in our classrooms for our students.
In the privacy of your own office or home, you can increase your skills as an educator through tutorials and Webinars. The ITeach Center self-paced tutorials will give you time to reflect on your teaching practices and offer tips to make improvements. CTL Webinars provide an opportunity for faculty to collaboratively learn techniques to improve teaching skills on faculty identified needs in a web conferencing forum.
The Teaching Online Workshop and other CTL sponsored courses offered during the year provide you an opportunity to talk with colleagues about topics that matter most to you in an online classroom environment.
Participate in these CTL developed educational opportunities. There is no time like the present. A world of learning is at your fingertips!
